The lush green forests, cloaked in mystery and age— so secretive one expected to see a Korrigan darting between the massive stones rimming the dozens of tiny, pagan ponds—were my first indication that we had reached Huelgoat. And from the east, hundreds of caravans, horses, and wandering performers, some traveling on foot, brought further proof that we had reached our destination, and that we were not the first arrivals.
